First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo strives to be a place for hope and connection. As such, we love to partner with our local community and help advance various nonprofits and their missions through the use of our facilities. A member of our Building Team will consult with you to complete a building use request form. Final approval comes from session.

  • What spaces are available?

    We currently have a large office space on the third floor overlooking East Fourth Street and a suite of rooms downstairs that includes an office, classroom and lounge.

  • What is the cost?

    This is negotiable. Please contact us to discuss your options. Phone and internet would be additional.

  • Do we sign a lease?

    Yes, you sign a building use agreement.

  • Who maintains the space?

    Cleaning is contracted with a janitorial service to which you would be added.

    Participants attend Begin Now to find community and build skills necessary to find a greater level of stability. Classes are free and participants are offered a free dinner, transportation, and childcare each week. Participants also have opportunities to earn weekly incentives.

    Expanding and Enriching the Arts in Waterloo and Beyond

    North End Cultural Center

    First Presbyterian hosts approximately 25 students each summer for the Summer Hip Hop Literacy Program. Their parent organization, the North End Cultural Center has their own suite of offices here in the church!

    Their staff has two offices in our building and the congregation worships in our gym every Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
