firST pres Story
Welcome to First Presbyterian Church
For over 170 years, First Presbyterian Church has been a place of faith, fellowship, and service in the heart of Waterloo, Iowa.
Founded in 1854, our church has grown alongside the city, marking milestones of faith and community. In 2004, we joyfully celebrated 150 years of ministry, and in 2023, we honored a century of worship and service in our historic home at 505 Franklin Street.
Through generations, we have remained committed to sharing God’s love, nurturing spiritual growth, and serving our neighbors. As we look to the future, we invite you to be part of our story—one of faith, hope, and a deep-rooted commitment to Christ’s mission.
Join us as we continue the journey!
