Rev. Tim Dyck

Pastor & Head of Staff

Pastor Tim, a second career pastor, started out as a human services/social work professional, and he served as an elder and choir director in several different churches before becoming a pastor in 2011. 

Born in Ethiopia, he grew up in England, Lebanon, Wales, Oregon, and Alberta. After graduating from a small college in Oregon, he lived in Washington, Iowa, and Ohio, until moving back to Iowa to accept the call as pastor of First Presbyterian Church.



Tim and his wife, Sarah, have two grown sons named Geoffrey and Ian and two rescue dogs named Wallace and Gromit. He is excited about the opportunity to serve God here in the Cedar Valley.
